WhatsApp and SMS messaging

  • We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
  • You will receive WhatsApp messages from POWEX GmbH about your enquiry, mandate coordination, and related follow-up. The opt-in is the contact form on www.powex.swiss (and www.powex.ch). Message frequency varies. For POWEX GmbH advisory enquiries it is typically a few messages while we coordinate a conversation or mandate. On properties we operate such as Memorial World, frequency is typically a few messages while we coordinate a healthcare inquiry, appointments, and follow-up.

Data we collect

When you submit the contact form on www.powex.swiss or www.powex.ch we collect your name, email address, mobile number, and message, plus any optional company name you provide. Submitting that form with the WhatsApp checkbox is the opt-in for WhatsApp messages from POWEX GmbH. We also process a simple arithmetic captcha to reduce automated abuse. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and the pages requested.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, we process the mobile number and the content of the conversation as needed to respond.

How we use your data

We use this information to answer your enquiry, discuss a possible mandate, send service-related WhatsApp or SMS messages you opted into, and keep a record of the request. We do not use your mobile number for unrelated marketing campaigns.

Who we share data with

We share data only with people at POWEX GmbH who handle your request and with processors that act on our instructions (for example hosting providers, and Twilio for WhatsApp or SMS delivery). Those providers may not use your mobile number for their own marketing. We do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.

Where a request concerns a property we operate, such as Memorial World, we may share the information with the hospital or operational partners needed to fulfil that request, still without selling the number for third-party marketing.

Legal basis and retention

We process data to take steps at your request before a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with law, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a professional advisory firm and securing our websites. Messaging consent can be withdrawn at any time (STOP). We keep enquiry records as long as needed for the mandate, statutory duties, and the defence of legal claims, then delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw messaging consent, by emailing info@powex.ch or by replying STOP to a message.
